This Data Retention Policy explains how long AI Images Upscaler (Unlimited) ("we", "our", or "us") keeps different categories of data, and the principles we use to decide when data is deleted. We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.
Images you upload, along with the AI-enhanced outputs we generate, are stored temporarily to allow processing and download. These files are retained for a limited period — typically within 24–48 hours after the job completes — after which they are automatically removed from our active systems. We do not keep indefinite copies of your images once this window has passed. Full details are available in our Image Privacy Policy.
Metadata about processing jobs — such as job status, timestamps, file format, and whether a job was free or paid — may be retained somewhat longer than the image files themselves, so that we can provide support, resolve billing questions, and maintain service reliability metrics. This metadata does not include the image content itself once the underlying files have been cleaned up.
If you create an account, we retain your account information (such as name and email address) for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.
Records of transactions (such as amount, plan purchased, and payment status) are retained for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations, which in many jurisdictions can be several years. We do not store full card details ourselves; payments are processed securely through Razorpay, which maintains its own retention practices for payment-instrument data.
Messages you send through our Contact Us form or by email are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your inquiry and to maintain a record of past support interactions, which helps us provide better support if you contact us again in the future.
Aggregated or pseudonymized analytics data (such as usage patterns collected via PostHog) and technical server logs are retained for a period sufficient to analyze trends, debug issues, and improve the Service, after which they are deleted or further aggregated so they no longer identify an individual user.
For each category of data, we consider: how long it is needed to provide the Service, any legal or regulatory retention requirements, the risk of harm if the data is kept longer than necessary, and our ability to resolve disputes or investigate abuse. Where possible, we default to shorter retention periods, particularly for the image content you upload.
When a retention period expires, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized through automated processes. Backups and disaster-recovery copies may persist for a limited additional period before being fully purged, in line with standard backup rotation practices.
We may retain specific data beyond the periods described above where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve an active dispute, enforce our agreements, or investigate suspected fraud or abuse.
You may request deletion of your personal data or account information at any time by contacting us. We will process valid requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the legal and operational exceptions described above.
We may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our systems or legal obligations. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
